My take

Lola and the Millionaires: Part 2 closes out the duet the way it should — not with love as the cure, but with these guys showing up as her people first. That’s the part that gets me every time. The characters level up to full 5/5 territory here, feeling less like love interests and more like an actual support system with really good jawlines (though I’ll admit, I was rationing my Cyrus scenes and still wanted more).

Synopsis

Lola is being hunted by her past, stalked with every step she takes. Sheltered with the pack of her dreams, at first it seems the hardest challenge isn’t even staying safe from Indy — tensions at work are at a tipping point, and after taking the role of management’s spy, Lola’s in the crossfire. As romances with the pack develop left and right, the woman who swore off alphas is turning to them like a bloom to the sun. She’s realizing her worst enemy is herself, walking a tightrope to find the balance that gives her strength instead of toppling her. But Indy won’t be ignored. Lola needs more than a pack to shield her — she needs to be ready to fight. This one's the payoff for anyone who sat through the slow-burn healing of Part 1 — spicy, yes, but the real itch it scratches is having people who stay.

the itch it scratched

Not because love fixed her, but because they were her people. For readers with their own trauma history, this hits different: therapeutic in a way that doesn't need to be explained to make sense.
